When we crafted our very first Hobby Horse five years ago, we never imagined we’d one day be designing clothes too. What started with accessories for our beloved horses slowly evolved, step by step. The journey was long and often challenging – but every bit of it was worth it. Today, there’s LarDen clothing.

How It All Began

With the creation of our first Hobby Horses came our support for the first Hobby Horsing events. At first, it was just small backyard competitions—but it wasn’t long before bigger, official tournaments followed. Sending something by post was no longer enough—Team LarDen had to hit the road and show up in person.

But how would anyone know who was part of the team? We needed our first Hobby Horse T-shirts. Things moved fast, and the big Hobby Horsing Championship was just around the corner. By then, LarDen was already working with test riders who would be competing in the tournament. So we had a second round of T-shirts, shirts, and sweatshirts made—this time for the girls to wear at the event.

And that’s where it all started: the feedback was incredible. So many kids wanted to wear LarDen too. And at that moment, we knew—there was no way we could say no.

A Step Further

After the championship, we at LarDen sat down and started thinking about what our own Hobby Horse clothing collection should look like. In the end, we decided on high-quality sports shirts and sweatshirts—versatile pieces, perfect for any occasion. We wanted colorful, universally wearable clothing that looks great on everyone.

The hardest part? Choosing the right materials and perfecting the cut. That’s when we quickly realized—it’s not as easy as it sounds. But we didn’t give up. The first pieces were sewn and tested by our daughters. What didn’t fit was adjusted, and whatever was missing, we added.

And that’s how the first LarDen sports collection came to life—made from materials that are colorfast, quick-drying, breathable, and shape-retaining. And that’s just the beginning of what they can do.

We Did It!

In April, just before Easter, the time had finally come: our very first sports collection was ready. Proudly, it took its place alongside our Hobby Horses – and from the bottom of our hearts, we hope you love it as much as we do.
